狗狗羅佛從夏天就期待聖誕節的到來，他等不及向聖誕老公公許願，讓他可以跟鳥兒一樣在空中飛翔。
終於來到了平安夜，「祝你有個好夢」羅佛的小主人安妮輕輕地在他耳邊說道，於是羅佛安心地進入夢鄉。
靜悄悄的深夜中，有個胖嘟嘟、紅通通的身影爬進煙囪，並把羅佛抱到後院去。直到外頭的雪落到他的鼻尖上，他才睜開眼睛發現這位熟悉的身影是聖誕老公公！
羅佛小聲的問：「你⋯⋯是真的嗎？還是我還在做夢？」聖誕老公公笑咪咪地回答道：「齁齁齁！想知道這一切是不是夢的話，現在就爬到那棵聖誕樹上，然後閉上眼睛往下跳試試看吧！我記得你的聖誕願望是想要飛，對吧？」
羅佛爬到樹的頂端，覺得自己就像一顆耀眼的星星。「羅佛！相信你自己！」聖誕老公公在樹下大喊。於是羅佛緊閉雙眼，奮力一跳！
一瞬間，羅佛的身體感覺輕飄飄的，一陣一陣寒冷的風撲上他的臉頰，但羅佛害怕得不敢張開眼睛。不知道是因為太冷，還是太害怕，羅佛的四肢不自覺地發抖。聖誕老公公緊緊握住羅佛的手說：「來，我們一起去送禮物給其他孩子吧！」
羅佛和聖誕老公公在夜空中飛翔，爬進城市裡每個房子的煙囪。接著他們把孩子們的禮物放在襪子裡和聖誕樹下。
「看！那裡有隻狗狗在天上飛耶！」有個小女孩指著羅佛興奮地喊道，其他孩子們聽到也跟著小女孩往窗外探頭看。這時羅佛終於忍不住張開眼睛，俯瞰整座城市，心想：「天哪！我真的是在飛嗎？」
就這樣幾乎整座城市的朋友都收到聖誕禮物。聖誕老公公說：「剩下最後一位小朋友了！你猜猜會是誰啊？」沒錯，是羅佛的小主人安妮。羅佛小心翼翼地把安妮的禮物放在聖誕樹下，然後再悄悄地離開。
飛了整晚，送完所有的聖誕禮物後，羅佛累壞了。即便他努力地想睜開眼睛，也抵抗不住睡意，於是在雪橇上睡著了。
聖誕老公公說：「謝謝你，羅佛你是一隻勇敢又善良的好狗狗！」並幫羅佛蓋上一條溫暖又舒服的毛毯。
「大家快來拆禮物咯！」安妮媽媽站在聖誕樹旁邊喊著。羅佛聽到熟悉的聲音後，便伸個懶腰，還打了好大的哈欠。剛醒來的他以為自己還在幫聖誕老公公送禮物呢！
「噠！噠！ 噠！ 」羅佛的小主人安妮飛快地跑到聖誕樹下拆禮物。「是我最想要的玩具！謝謝聖誕老公公！」安妮緊緊抱住她的聖誕禮物，笑得合不攏嘴。
「哇！你們看！」小主人安妮驚呼。 「羅佛也有聖誕禮物耶！」安妮驚訝地指著羅佛的小窩說道。
這時，羅佛才發現自己睡在小窩裡，而身上的毛毯上印著可愛的圖案，是一隻小狗在冰天雪地的夜空中快樂地飛翔。

The Dog, Rover, had been looking forward to Christmas since summer. He couldn’t wait to make a wish to Santa so that he could fly in the sky like a bird.
Luckily, Christmas Eve came. “Have a sweet dream,” Rover’s little owner, Annie, whispered in his ear. Rover fell asleep.
In the silence of the night, a big red jolly man approached Rover and carried him gently into the backyard. Until the snow outside fell on the tip of Rover’s nose, he opened his eyes and found that familiar figure was Santa!
“Are you real or am I dreaming?” Rover asked in a whisper. “HO, HO, HO!!! Climb up that Christmas tree, close your eyes and jump down to see if it's a dream! I remember your Christmas wish is to fly, right?” Santa replied with a smile.
Rover climbed to the top of the tree and felt like a dazzling star. “Rover! Believe in yourself!” Santa shouted under the tree. Thus, Rover closed his eyes and jumped with all his might.
Rover's body felt as light as a feather, and a cold wind blew against his cheeks, but Rover was too scared to open his eyes. Not knowing if it was too cold or too scared, Rover's limbs kept shaking in the air. Santa held Rover's hand and said, “Come on, let's give gifts to other children together!”
Rover and Santa were flying in the night sky. They climbed into the chimney, and then put the gifts in the stockings and under the Christmas tree.
"Look, there is a dog flying!" A girl said and pointed to Rover. Other children looked outside of their windows too. At the same time, Rover couldn’t help but open his eyes. He looked at the ground and thought: “Wow! Am I flying right now?"
Almost every child got gifts. “There is only one gift left. Rover, guess who is the last one? ", said Santa. That's right, it is Annie. Rover put Annie’s gifts under the Christmas tree carefully and left again quietly.
Flying the whole night, Rover was tired. Even though he tried to open his eyes so hard, he slept in the sleigh eventually.
"Thank you, Rover. You are brave and kind," said Santa. Then, Santa covered Rover with a warm blanket next to him.
It’s finally Christmas day. “Let’s open the gifts!” said Annie’s mom standing by the Christmas tree at nine in the morning. When Rover heard that familiar voice, he stretched out and made a big yawn. He thought he was still helping Santa deliver gifts!
Annie quickly ran to the Christmas tree to open the gifts." It's the toy I want the most! Thank you, Santa Claus!" Annie hugged her gift tightly and smiled.
"Wow! Look!" Annie exclaimed. "Rover also got a Christmas gift!" Annie said in surprise as she pointed to Rover’s bed. Rover found a lovely blanket in his bed.
The blanket was printed with a delicate image of a puppy flying happily in the icy night sky.
