非洲大草原上漫步，
長腿因散落的枝葉險些立不住。
脖子伸長到樹梢綠葉把臉吃得好鼓，
對擦身而過的動物也只漫不經心地回顧。
潺潺流水聲，
窸窣草木音，到是聽得一清二處。
牠彎下腰來準備喝口冰涼的水，
突然，聽見一陣聲響來自遠處。
那會是何物？

Roaming the savannahs,
Its long legs stumbling on fallen sticks.
Reaching up to the tips of branches and munching on leaves,
Turning only vaguely as other animals pass.
At last, it hears the gurgle of water,
And the mixture of noises travel to its ears.
Bending over to drink the cold water,
It hears a sound from the distance.
What is it…?
