Penelope, her fur is warm and so sweet,
and she always keeps herself so neat.
I love her so much, and I wonder if
she knows just how much I do.
When I have a bad day,
she is always there to say,
“I love you,” she purrs.
I imagine her, pleading for a
tutu, giving us those sweet eyes,
and we say, “here’s one in your size!”
Penelope is a rescue cat,
and I’ll never forget the day that,
I found my fluffy forever friend.
Her back legs are pretty pantaloons,
her back feet are high-heeled Ugg boots.
She is effortlessly kind,
and she really changes your mind,
about the lovely, worthwhile world we live in.
